Requirements

Interra Online works best with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and Mozilla's Firefox 2.0 or higher. We do not recommend using the browser for America Online or MSN and cannot guarantee proper operation while using Interra Online. We also recommend using a monitor resolution set at 800x600 or higher.

You can use a dial-up account through an ISP (Internet Service Provider) or a dedicated connection to access the internet. If using a dial-up account, we recommend at least a 14.4 kbps modem. A web browser with Secure Sockets Layer security capabilities: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher.

Security

Transactions you conduct and account information you obtain on Interra Online are secure. Our site uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, to ensure your account information and transactions are masked.

In addition to encryption, Interra Online makes use of a time-out feature. That means that if you leave your computer idle for a short time, you must log on again to gain access to your account. Another security feature is the ability to change your access code at any time. We recommend that you change your access code frequently. For examples of good password practices, click here.

When you log on to Interra Online, you will get a Java-script alert regarding the last attempted access to your account. If you have recently entered an incorrect access code, this alert will inform you of such attempts. If the number of unsuccessful attempts seems unusually high, please contact us immediately and we will reissue your access code.

Interra Online requires that "cookies" are turned on and accepted by your browser. Generally, these small bits of information are used only to track your Interra Online session and are cleared off of your hard drive by Interra Online when you leave.

Interra Online supports both 40 and 128-bit encryption. The level of encryption used depends on the browser being used. Check your browser documentation on how to check which level of security is in use.

If you have any questions about the information above, please contact any Interra office or e-mail us.

Frequently Asked Questions about Interra Online

If you experience difficulties accessing Interra Online, it may be due to one of the common problems listed below. If the problems persist, please call us at 574.534.2506 or at 888.432.2848.

What does my account number look like?

Be sure you use your six or seven-digit account number only. Do not use any account suffixes.

What if I forget or don’t know my access code?

Your access code is any combination of from 8 to 16 case-sensitive letters and/or numbers. This is important to keep in mind when you change your access code. If you forget yours, we can’t see it, and that’s why we can’t give it to you over the phone. We can set up a temporary code for you which will allow you to input a new access code. This system may seem inconvenient, but it is in place for your security and account protection.

What if nothing happens after I type my member number and access code and hit "Enter"?

You must click “Continue” to access the system, not the "Enter" key. When you click "Continue," the Interra Online main menu will appear.

What happens if I get the error message, "This account has not been set up for Interra Online?"

Have you completed the registration form to access Interra Online? Have you received a confirmation letter from Interra? In order to access Interra Online, your account(s) must be set up through the proper permissions to use the online banking system. If you are not registered, you may obtain the form here.

If you believe you are registered and continue to have log-on problems, please contact us either via our online contact form or at 574.534.2506 or 888.432.2848 during regular business hours.

How do I get to Interra Bill Pay, e-Statements and e-Alerts?

Interra Online is the “gateway” to these services, so you must be logged into Interra Online banking to access them. Once you enter your member number, password and click on the “Continue” button, you will be logged into Interra Online. The link to Interra Bill Pay appears along the horizontal menu at the top of Interra Online page. e-Statements can be accessed through the “History” button along the same horizontal menu.  You may set up, modify or delete e-Alerts, by clicking on the word "here" found below your name and address information.
