Carry Interra in your pocket with mobile services available to you from the credit union – when and where you want them. Enjoy the freedom of transfering funds or paying bills on the go with mobile banking, or receive account balances or recent transaction updates with mobile texting.
Mobile Banking
Mobile banking enables you to view parts of Interra's website and perform selected online banking functions using your internet-enabled mobile device. Offered at no cost to members, you may want to check your plan, as your carrier may charge a monthly fee for wireless web access and may also charge for the volume of data exchanged. Find an office location or surcharge-free ATM, rates and more. Interra Online banking is also at your fingertips. Just go to interracu.mobi and login using your online banking credentials. Once logged in, you can access the following services: account summaries and transaction history, transfers between your Interra accounts, bill pay – schedule payments, view history and view or cancel pending bill payments. Mobile Texting
Mobile texting is also a free service to Interra members. Once registered, all you have to do is call 800.298.3459, enter your PIN and, within seconds, you’ll get a text message from Interra. For time savings and peace of mind, you can get balance information or check on recent transactions. Interra Online banking access is needed in order to sign up for mobile texting.
Mobile Texting Setup Instructions
In order to utilize this service, you must be enrolled in Interra Online banking, and know BOTH your primary and secondary login passwords.
- Visit the Text Messaging Access Set Up page to get started, and follow the prompts:
- Enter your six or seven-digit Interra Member Number; click Submit
- Enter your password (this is the same as the primary password used to access Interra Online banking); choose Continue
- Because the system does not have your device enabled, it will ask for your secondary password (or the “unique identifier” password that you use to enter Interra Online on a non-authenticated PC); press Continue
- Once logged in, a screen with instructions about using Mobile Texts will appear. To proceed with registering your mobile device (or e-mail address) to receive texts, choose Continue
- On the My On-Demand Text Messaging Devices page, click on the Add a new device link and follow the prompts:
- Enter the phone number that you will be initiating the calls from (this is also the number that texts will be sent to); select Next –›
- Choose the carrier that provides your wireless service from the drop down menu; choose Next –› Note: If your provider is not listed, select “other.”
- Indicate whether you would like the texts sent to the phone number provided, or to an e-mail address (once selected, the address must be provided); press Next –›
- Decide which type of texts you would like to receive:
- Account Balances;
- Last 3 Transactions; or
- Both Balances and Last 3 Transactions; Select Next –›
- Create a four-digit PIN of your choice; click Next –›
- Review the confirmation page to ensure that the preferences selected are correct; press Confirm –›
- A registration screen will appear confirming that the device is now registered to receive account texts. You should receive an enrollment text from msg@interracu.com to the phone number or e-mail address registered. Be sure to save the phone number, 800.298.3459, to your contact list. If a notification message is not received, contact Interra.
- You are now able to receive account texts to your cell phone or e-mail address! To initiate a notification, simply:
- Call 800.298.3459 (from the registered device),
- Enter your 4-digit PIN when prompted,
- Within seconds a text will be sent to the phone number or e-mail address associated with the PIN provided.
