Member Share savings account

Get started with a savings account. It’s the beginning of your relationship with Interra Credit Union. The first $5.00 in the account represents the member’s “share” of ownership at Interra. From this beginning, you’re on your way to taking advantage of the many benefits of credit union membership – including the products and services designed with you in mind. Our savings account features:

• Low minimum balance – only $5.00
• Competitive rates 
• No monthly or annual maintenance fees

In addition to the primary savings account, you may open other savings accounts to help you save for special needs or future goals. 

• FREE access to your accounts at all Interra locations and Indiana Credit Union Centers.
• Money access without a surcharge whenever you see the Alliance One logo at ATMs nationwide. 
  A foreign transaction fee of $1.00 may be assessed, per transaction, when you use an ATM not owned by Interra Credit Union.
• Access limitations:
  • $300.00 daily cash withdrawals
  • $100.00 cash back on unverified ATM deposits

Christmas Club

Stress-free Holiday! Open a Christmas Club account this month for a chance to win a $100 gift card. All members with a Christmas Club account by March 31, 2010 (existing or newly opened) will be entered to win a $500 Visa gift card or be one of ten members to win a $50 gift card on November 1 – just in time for holiday shopping!
	To be eligible for the drawings, just meet four qualifications: Have an existing Christmas Club account or open a new one by March 31, 2010 (one account per member, age 16 or older). Sign up for direct deposit or automatic transfer into your account. Make a minimum monthly direct deposit or transfer of at least $40. Make no withdrawals from the account during the Christmas Club “year” (11.01.09 – 10.31.10).

Wrap Up a Happy Holiday Shopping Season!

Save money AND gain peace of mind with the Interra Christmas Club savings account. Open a new club account or add to an existing account at any time during the Christmas Club “year,” from November 1 through October 31. The money you save will be deposited into your Interra Credit Union checking or savings account at the close of business on October 31 – just in time for the shopping season.
 
Most Christmas Club savers find that a systematic, and automatic, savings plan produces best results. For example, you can have a set amount transferred from your Interra checking account or a payroll direct deposit on a regular basis.
 
Examples of various weekly deposit schedules (52 weeks) are show below: 

$  5.00 = $260.00	$10.00 = $520.00
$20.00 = $1,040.00	$25.00 = $1,300.00

You can set up a schedule that works best for you, and you can also make manual deposits into the account at any time during the year.

To open your Christmas Club Account today:

1. Complete and return the Account Information section of the form.
2. For automatic transfer from an Interra account, just complete the Automatic Transfer Authorization portion of the form.
3. Mail, fax or deliver the completed form(s) to Interra.

Young Explorers Savings Club

For children 11 years and younger, our custom-designed program makes learning about money and savings a real adventure!  At account opening, children receive a Young Explorers theme bag filled with a safari of fun, including:

• program folder with account information;
• savings safari bank;
• jungle coloring book with crayons;
• Young Explorers stickers and pencils;
• animal crackers;
• And more!

They will also enjoy ongoing benefits, including an annual "members-only" event and for their birthdays, a specially-designed Young Explorers coloring card.
