e-Alerts: Account and information notification alerts
Would you like to know when your account balance falls below a certain amount, when a particular check has cleared, when a direct deposit has been made, or if your account has a negative balance? For your peace of mind, you can get the answers to any or all of these questions and more in “real time” with e-Alerts from Interra Credit Union. Receiving notifications about your account is provided free*, another benefit of Interra membership. You may actually save money from fees with immediate notification of your account status.
Get started
- Just sign in to Interra Online banking. If you're not signed up, register now!
- Once you have signed in, just click on the e-Alert tab.
Tailored to fit you
One of the best ways for users to track their finances is to be aware, and alerts provide a useful tool to create awareness. Interra Online comes equipped with a powerful notifications engine.
- You have the option to be notified via e-mail and/or SMS/text message.
- Make sure to go to check your profile in Interra Online to ensure that your email and/or cell phone number have been entered correctly, based on your e-Alert delivery preferences.
- When you select to receive e-mail alerts, the entire alert message will be delivered to the e-mail address you have provided in your profile.
- SMS/text alert messages may be abbreviated to the restricted amount of characters that can be displayed in a text message (160 characters). The message will be sent to the mobile number set up in your profile, including the carrier address (i.e. 5745555555@vtext.com).
Two types of e-Alerts
- Standard Alerts are built into online banking and provide a set of commonly used alerts.
- Custom Alerts are alerts you create, if you want a type of alert different from the standard alert options.
- Any parameters entered in the search box of any accounts summary page can be turned it into an alert! It's that easy. Once you've conducted a search and the results are displaying, click on the Create search alert link to the right of the search box. Enter the alert parameters you'd like for that alert, save it and you're done!
