Brenda Weatherton Celebrates Retirement From Interra Credit Union

May 7, 2020 – Brenda Weatherton has retired from Interra Credit Union, Liz Bontrager, Regional Branch Manager, announced recently. Brenda dedicated twenty-two years of service to the credit union. “Brenda made an immense impact to the Wakarusa community,” Liz Bontrager stated. “We wish her the best of luck on this new chapter in her life. She will be missed.”

Interra Credit Union has promoted Nicole Lengerich to Senior Branch Manager of the Wakarusa office. Nicole has over thirteen years of financial experience and recently joined the Interra team in November 2019. Since her hiring, Lengerich worked directly with Weatherton and completed her branch management training. “I’ve got big shoes to fill since Brenda’s retirement,” Lengerich stated. “It’s important to work hard and stay committed to be our members’ most valuable financial resource.”

Nicole is actively involved in the community. She’s a volunteer for Elkhart County Junior Achievement and stays proactive in finding new community volunteer opportunities. “At Interra we support our local community and always look for ways we can serve our neighbors,” Lengerich shared. “I’m a member of the community too and want what’s best for us.”

Originally from Elkhart, Indiana, Nicole graduated from Concord High School and Ball State University. She currently resides in Goshen, Indiana with her husband, Luke, and their two sons.
