lnterra Appoints New Director, Head of Mortgage Sales, Bringing Nearly 30 Years of Industry Leadership
April 23, 2026 – Phil Wiens, Managing Director, Chief Growth Officer, announced that Jamie Loher, a seasoned mortgage professional, will be the new Director, Head of Mortgage Sales at Interra Credit Union. Loher brings nearly three decades of experience grounded in service, integrity, and relationship-based growth.

With a career spanning close to 30 years in mortgage lending, beginning as a Loan Officer in 1996 and advancing through leadership roles at National City Bank and PNC, Loher brings a proven track record of building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional member experiences.
Throughout his career, he has overseen the origination of hundreds of mortgages and home equity loans annually, with a consistent focus on responsible lending practices, strong credit quality, and long-term community impact.
“Mortgage lending is about more than transactions, it’s about trust, education, and helping people make some of the most important financial decisions of their lives,” said Loher. “What motivates me most is seeing members achieve homeownership and watching team members grow into successful leaders.”
A defining moment early in his career continues to shape his leadership philosophy. After choosing to guide a first-time homebuyer away from a loan structure that was not in their long-term best interest, Loher learned the enduring value of trust over short-term gain. That decision led to years of referrals and reinforced a belief that relationship-driven service is the foundation of sustainable success.
In this new role, Loher aims to expand his impact by shaping long-term mortgage and consumer lending strategy within a mission-driven organization. Key priorities include developing strong leadership pipelines, responsibly leveraging innovation, and ensuring mortgage lending remains a sustainable, member-first solution that supports financial well-being across generations.
Loher holds a degree in Business from Kalamazoo College and maintains professional credentials including NMLS licensure and the Business of Banking Certification (PNC). Outside of work, he is deeply committed to family and community. Loher has been married to his spouse, Danielle, for 21 years and has two children, Mackenzie (14) and Connor (10), along with their 3-month-old golden retriever, Winnie.
An active community member, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time at the lake with family. Loher has served as head coach for his daughter’s travel softball team for four years and regularly volunteers at Autism Awareness events.
