Interra Credit Union Promotes Mike Blosser to Chief Commercial Officer
October 9, 2025 – Amy Sink, Chief Executive Officer, announced that Mike Blosser will be promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. A respected leader with nearly 20 years of experience at Interra, Blosser has played a key role in building and expanding the credit union’s commercial services. In his new role, he will guide the continued growth and strategic direction of Interra’s commercial and agribusiness lending, commercial deposits, treasury management, and wealth services—areas critical to the credit union’s mission of empowering local businesses and communities.

Blosser began his career at Interra in 2005 as an Investment Advisor. He quickly advanced through several key positions including Branch Manager, Commercial Loan Officer, Vice President of Business Services, and most recently, Senior Vice President of Commercial Services. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to building high-performing teams and delivering innovative financial solutions. His leadership was instrumental in the creation and expansion of Interra’s Commercial and Agribusiness Lending Divisions, which have helped the credit union earn recognition as the number one Commercial Lending and number two Agribusiness Lending credit union in the nation. He also developed a Small Business Lending Program that provides expedited funding—often within 48 hours—to meet the needs of local business and agribusiness owners.
In addition to his work in lending, Blosser oversaw the buildout of Interra’s Treasury Management department and played a key role in shaping its current suite of products and services. His impact has extended beyond local communities; through his involvement with the World Council of Credit Unions, he participated in recovery and development efforts in Dominica, supporting local credit union leaders in rebuilding financial systems after a devastating hurricane.
A graduate of Manchester University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Blosser has long been driven by a passion for leadership, service, and community. His professional career has been influenced by early involvement in sports, 4-H, and student organizations, which taught him the value of teamwork, accountability, and culture. He credits his success to the guidance of exceptional mentors, parents, coaches, and educators who instilled in him a strong work ethic and commitment to service.
Now serving as Chief Commercial Officer, Blosser says he is most excited to continue building on Interra’s legacy and values. "Interra was founded by local farmers who came together to help one another," he said. "That spirit still guides us today. I’m honored to carry that legacy forward helping more businesses and families succeed through personalized, local financial services."
Blosser lives in Goshen with his wife, Stacy, a fourth-grade teacher at West Noble Elementary School. Together they have two daughters, Jordi and Emry, who attend Fairfield Community Schools. Deep involved in his community, he serves as a board member for Leatherman Supply, is active with Junior Achievement of Noble County, and volunteers as a coach with the Fairfield Youth League. When he’s not working or coaching, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and attending sporting events and concerts with his family.
At the heart of Blosser’s leadership is a desire to invest in others and give back to the communities Interra serves. “Knowing I’m part of something greater—developing others and helping strengthen our local communities—is what inspires me every day,” he said.
