Interra Credit Union Promotes Phil Wiens to Chief Growth Officer
October 10, 2025 – After more than three decades of dedicated service, Amy Sink, Chief Executive Officer, is thrilled to announce the promotion of Phil Wiens to Chief Growth Officer. Known for his exceptional leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and unwavering commitment to Interra’s mission, Wiens has been a driving force behind the credit union’s continued success. A highly respected team member and mentor, he now steps into this key strategic role focused on advancing growth, innovation, and long-term member value.

In his new role as Chief Growth Officer, Wiens will be responsible for driving sustainable growth in lending and deposits through market expansion strategies, product innovation, business development, and overall revenue enhancement.
Wiens began his journey with Interra as a college intern and has since grown through a wide range of positions across the organization. He gained hands-on experience in consumer, mortgage, and commercial lending, and served as Branch Manager at the Wakarusa location when it first opened. Over the years, Wiens has held several key executive leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Lending Officer, and Chief Retail Officer, which contributes to the growth and evolution of the credit union.
A graduate of Goshen College with a degree in Business, and an alum of the CUNA Management School, Wiens brings a unique blend of institutional knowledge, academic training, and visionary leadership to the executive team.

Wiens lives in Nappanee with his spouse, Krista. They have two adult children, Kennedy and Cooper. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, and playing golf.
