Jeremy Bender Promoted To Regional Vice President Of Agribusiness Lending

January 26, 2021 – Jeremy Bender has been promoted to Regional Vice President of Agribusiness Lending, Mike Blosser, Senior Vice President of Commercial Services, announced recently. In addition to serving agribusiness members, he will provide leadership and guidance to the agribusiness team as they continue to grow in existing and new markets.

Bender has been a part of the Interra team since 2012. He has received several promotions within the department during his time at the credit union. Previously, he held the position as Vice President of Agribusiness Lending. Bender looks forward to tackling this new challenge as Regional Vice President. “At Interra, we understand the inner workings of the communities we operate and serve in,” stated Bender. “Many staff members, including myself, are rooted in the farming community and know firsthand the challenges associated within the profession,” Bender added. “Our goal as Agribusiness lenders and leaders, is to position our farmers to be as successful as possible,” he concluded.

Bender is active in various communities Interra serves. He is involved with the Kosciusko County Community Fair as well as his church, Living Gospel Church, in Nappanee, Indiana.

Originally from New Paris, Indiana, Bender is a Fairfield Jr. Sr. High School graduate. Growing up on a dairy farm, his love for farming and agriculture became a passion. He went on to attend and graduate from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics. With an interest in furthering his education, he also attended and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Bender currently resides south of New Paris, Indiana with his wife, Alisa, and their three daughters.
