What is the CashBack+ browser extension?

CashBack+ is a browser extension that helps you earn cashback instantly on your online purchases at your favorite stores. Shop as usual and the extension will automatically detect eligible merchants, alert you of that offer when on the checkout page of the merchant’s site, apply the exact amount you owe at checkout, and instantly credit your CashBack+ wallet with the earned cash back. It's that simple!

CashBack+ Pay is the most convenient way to take your cashback on the go. Download the Chrome desktop computer browser extension for online shopping and download the iPhone app on your mobile device for online and in-store offers. Never miss another offer when you're shopping.

How do I pay with CashBack+ Pay?

When you are shopping online and on the checkout page of a brand, you simply open the pop-up, enter your checkout amount and click to pay with your connected Interra account. You'll receive instant cashback as well as a gift card code to use in the gift card field to complete checkout.

If you are in-store, open the CashBack+ Pay app and choose the in-store option, enter the amount and use the gift card code displayed to pay at checkout for the exact amount of your order.

Will I get cashback notifications when I shop online?

Yes, the browser extension will alert you when there is an offer for the website you are currently making a purchase on. The offer will be presented to you on the checkout page.

Are there any minimum purchase requirements?

A minimum purchase of $5 is required to utilize the CashBack+ browser extension.

How do I link my Interra account?

Connect your Interra account with the CashBack+ Pay app on iPhone or by logging into your account on your computer or iPhone. Upon login, the browser extension will prompt you to link your account if it is not currently linked.

Note: Please make sure you are on the right browser. Safari on your iPhone or Chrome on your computer.

How does the extension work with my Interra account?

When you initiate a purchase using the CashBack+ extension. CashBack+ will purchase a digital gift card using the funds from your selected account and automatically apply that to your purchase on checkout.

How much cashback can I earn with the browser extension?

The amount of cashback you earn depends on the participating merchant and the offer they run. Typically, you can expect cash back between 1% and 20%. You can check the offer details when prompted to choose a gift card during checkout.

Will I get cashback instantly?

Yes, unlike other cashback extensions, you don’t have to wait to receive benefits. With the CashBack+ browser extension you get cashback instantly.

Can I earn cashback on all online purchases with CashBack+ Pay?

Currently, the CashBack+ extension supports only select online retailers. The list of participating merchants will be periodically updated to provide you with the best cashback opportunities.

Do gift cards purchased through CashBack+ Pay have any fees or restrictions?

No, there are no additional fees or restrictions on digital gift cards purchase through CashBack+ Pay.

How can I confirm that CashBack+ Pay was successfully downloaded?

iPhone: Verify that the CashBack+ Pay app is installed on your device.

Computer: Check your extensions to see if the CashBack+ Pay extension is available.

You can also check the download page for your iPhone or for your computer.

How can I verify if my CashBack+ Pay browser extension is connected to myInterra account?

If you're not connected, you can open the CashBack+ Pay app on your iPhone and it will prompt you to connect within the app. On your computer, log in to your Interra online banking account on Chrome, and the extension will prompt you to connect if necessary.

How do I know if CashBack+ browser extension is working?

You can ensure the browser extension is working when you see a cashback offer appear in the right-hand corner of the screen during the checkout process.

How does CashBack+ work?

CashBack+ is an exclusive marketplace accessible within online banking that has a large variety of cash back offers from hundreds of well-loved brands. This unique benefit allows members to receive cash back when they purchase digital gift cards to do their everyday shopping. The brands are personalized to members, and the offers are updated frequently.

How do I get my cash back?

The best part of Cashback+ is how easy it is to use. Simply, purchase a digital gift card and instantly receive a bonus value as cash back. The cash back will appear in your CashBack+ Wallet which can be used for other gift card purchases or transferred back into your Interra account within 48 hours.

How can I use my cash back?

Members can utilize their cash back to either purchase additional gift cards through the CashBack+ Marketplace or their cash back balance can be transferred back to the members’ connected Interra checking or savings account. Transferring cash back to a member’s account only takes up to 24 hours, and there are no fees associated with utilizing their cash back.

Can I use a combination of cash back and Interra checking/savings account to pay for a gift card?

The full value of the selected gift card’s denomination needs to be available in the selected payment account to purchase a gift card. This includes cash back balance. Using multiple accounts is not currently supported.

How will I receive my digital gift card?

Once purchased, your digital gift card will immediately be available within your CashBack+ Wallet. You will also receive a confirmation email at the time of purchase to the email associated with your Interra account. The digital gift card comes with a code that can be used online or scanned in store. Your gift card will remain in your CashBack+ Wallet until you’re ready to use it and you can then archive it within the wallet once used.

How do I check my gift card balance?

Gift card balances can be checked via the specific brand’s website. Members can go to the brand website and enter the gift card number and pin. Instructions by brand can be found within the help center at this link.

Can I track cash back?

Cash back balances can be viewed in the CashBack+ section of online banking by clicking the cash back balance at the top of the screen or clicking the menu in the upper right and going to “My Cashback”.

Can I delete an old card?

When a member utilizes the full balance of a gift card, Prizeout does not automatically mark the card as used. A used card cannot be deleted but it can be archived by:

1. Go to CashBack+ Digital Wallet
2. Click into a specific card to archive
3. Click Archive under the “Shop Now” button

When do my gift cards expire?

While expiration policies are dictated by the specific gift card's retailer, federal law dictates gift cards are not permitted to expire within a minimum of 5 years from the date of purchase. To get more information regarding the specific gift card, we recommend reaching out to the specific brand’s support team.

Can I get a physical gift card?

CashBack+ only provides digital gift cards to ensure they can be utilized instantly, but you can always print your digital gift card. You can use the gift card Code and Pin to redeem online or if presented with a barcode, either scanned from your cellular device or printed out and presented to the cashier at the time of purchase.

Can I exchange my gift card?

Once a gift card is purchased, we are unable to exchange the gift card or cancel the gift card to refund your account.

What if my gift card was sent to an email account I can no longer access?

If you no longer have access to the email account on file, please update your email address in your banking profile. Once updated, please reach out to
support@prizeout.com (our partners in bringing you CashBack+) to confirm the change and have the previous cards sent to your new email address.

What if my card did not work when I attempted to use it?

If you no longer have access to the email account on file, please update your email address in your banking profile. Once updated, please contact Interra Credit Union to confirm the change and have the previous gift cards sent to your new email address.

Can I print my gift card?

Yes, once claimed the digital gift card can be printed.

I lost my gift card number and/or pin. What should I do?

No problem! If you can locate the original email from when you received the gift card, click on the link to reclaim your card. Alternatively, you can view and access any of your cards within your wallet in the Prizeout marketplace. If you cannot find the original email, please contact Interra Credit Union for assistance.

Why do I see different options than other members?

CashBack+ provides the best offers for all users. The options may change depending on a variety of factors including previous purchase history, location, promotional campaigns, and more.
