Saturday, June 6, 2020

9:00 to 11:00 am

Location

Interra main office, in the Powerhouse parking lot, just southwest of the office.

As a benefit to our members, Interra Credit Union is once again sponsoring the popular Shred-It Days. We know many of you have been busy and reorganizing files lately. Interra wants to help with the purging of old paperwork properly and safely. Shred-It Days highlight the importance of proper and safe disposal of information that can compromise your accounts or your identity.

FREE! Each member may have up to 50 pounds shredded for FREE, regardless of the number of accounts he or she has. It’s only 20 cents per pound thereafter. In 2019, members had almost 27,000 pounds shredded!

A benefit of membership! Shred-It Days are for Interra members only. Please bring your member card, checkbook, debit card or other evidence of membership.

What should you shred? Old documents and medical records; tax records; financial, credit card and investment statements and receipts; pre-approvals and other mail solicitations; computer discs and CDs; pay stubs; expired ID cards; leases and contracts; expired credit cards, etc. It’s okay to shred paper clips, staples, manila folders, duplicate check copies, old checkbooks and deposit books.

Please don’t bring: Garbage, 3-ring binders, cardboard, plastic or metal. (The credit union and/or Mountain High Shredding reserve the right to refuse unacceptable items.)

Practice safety: We will continue to practice CDC safety guidelines for this event. Members will stay in vehicles while our staff volunteers collect the shredding items.

Branch Hours and Availability

As we look forward to the possible reopening of our branches, understand Interra will make decisions based on government suggestions and CDC guidelines as we continue to stay focused on the safety of our members and employees.

Until our lobbies are fully open and functional again, Interra’s drive-thrus will continue to be one of the best ways to serve you. During this time our drive-thrus have extended hours on Fridays only until 6:00 pm (excluding the Topeka office). An added convenience while our lobbies are closed is the option to make a deposit at any of Interra’s night deposit boxes. These deposits are monitored throughout the day to allow for same business day processing. Simply watch your online account for the deposit transaction to know when it’s been completed.

Interra’s members are using our online resources and mobile banking deposits now more than ever. From online account enrollment and loan applications to chat features and mobile deposits, Interra’s technology banking is always available. Even when our lobbies open back up, technology resources will still be a great option for your banking needs.

We thank you for continued trust with Interra during this time. Remember you can stay up to date on branch hours on Facebook, our website and through email communication.

Online Loan Payment Updates Coming

We’re excited to share that Interra’s online loan payment service will be updated in mid-May. It’ll have a fresh new look and increased features. Due to the update, any reoccurring loan payments will need to be set up again. More information will be communicated via email to online loan payment members in the next 2 weeks. You’ll also find helpful tips soon at www.interracu.com. Be sure to watch your email in order to avoid any missed automatic loan payments.

Share Draft Reminder

Don’t forget! If you have a Share Draft account, your statement and online banking will now reference the account as “Regular Checking”. This is only an update to the name and will not affect any terms or service.
